The Wabash Valley Art Guild Annual
Spring Art Show will be held May 6 & 7 in the Hulman/Clabber
Girl lobby area and gallery in Terre Haute. The reception will be
held Friday evening, May 6: 6-8 pm.
My paintings Moonscape, Movement &
Sunset will be on exhibit.
River City Art Association's
first of three Indiana Bicentennial Exhibits will be held May
13 & 14 at the Masonic Lodge on the ISU campus in Terre Haute.
There will be refreshments & historic building tours throughout
the evening Friday and all day Saturday. The series of shows has been
recognized by the Governor and Bicentennial Committee. My paintings
Indiana Dunes, Red Barn & White Barn will be
part of the show, as well as many special works in honor of the state
and its history.
Art League Lafayette is
celebrating its 50th anniversary with many activities,
including an art show featuring art league members. My painting
Sailboat at Sunset has been chosen for the show at the Art Museum of Greater Lafayette. Past & Present will
be open May 6 – July 17. The exhibit has many outstanding pieces
by talented artists, and is a fitting tribute to the Art League's
birthday.
Sullivan-Munce Gallery/Museum
sponsors a Zionsville Garden Walk in June each year. This
time it will be accompanied by an art exhibit with a 'flower' theme,
open to IPAPA members. My painting Flower Box has
been juried into this show. It is a privilege to exhibit with such
wonderful artists.
Hamilton County Artists
Association's Juried Artist Members Recognition Exhibition will
be held June 3-24 at the Birdie Gallery in Noblesville. The show is titled 'Pursuit of Excellence' and
will be judged for prizes. My paintings Sunset
& Moonscape will
be entered.
HCAA Annual Gathering of Plein Air
Painters will be held in Noblesville the weekend of June 16,
17,18. There will be many activities,competitions and prizes. I will
be volunteering at the HCAA booth on the Courthouse Square Saturday.
Nickel Plate Arts, Noblesville
presents: In the Name of Progress Art Show the month of June.
A reception will be held the First
Friday with music & refreshments. The theme of the art follows
the history of Indiana and the ways that Hoosier life has changed
from 1816-2016.
