Sunrise Sunset is the theme of
my show as featured artist at Athens Arts in Crawfordsville.
Fourteen of my sunrise/sunset paintings
will be on exhibit August 4 – September 20.
The
breathtaking beauty and magnificence of sunrises and sunsets have
inspired writers, musicians, and artists throughout history.
Just like fingerprints and snowflakes – no two are ever alike. The variety of colors and cloud formations are endless.
Each special sunrise or sunset takes our breath away – as if it were our first.

The
oil paintings are accompanied by verses and quotes in which writers,
amateur
and
professional, have tried to describe that which is indescribable.
The
reception with music and refreshments will be held Friday evening
August 11: 6-8 pm.
Ladies of River City Art Association
present The World We Live In. The
exhibit will be held at the Clabber Girl/Hulman
Gallery, Terre Haute, August 2-28. The artists will exhibit work in
fused glass, acrylic, watercolor, oil, fiber art, quilts, collage,
photography and digital art. A special reception will be held
Saturday afternoon, August 26: 12 noon – 2 pm.

River
City Art Association presents their Annual Exhibition. It will be
held in the First Financial Bank Atrium in downtown Terre Haute. The
opening reception is Friday evening, August 4: 6- 9 pm – as part
of the T.H. First Friday downtown event. The show will continue until
August 31 during regular bank hours. My paintings Trumpeter
Swan, Robin's Nest
and Brown Pelican
will be on display.
