Plainfield-Guilford Public Library (the
home of the wonderful Arts Gala in April) is presenting the 'Wonder
of Winter' Art Exhibit. This show features scenes of winter by
various artists around the state. Several of my snowy mountain paintings,
as well as my 'Penguin' will be part of the exhibit February 1-28.
Arts Illiana Gallery, Terre Haute, is
presenting a juried show February 3-April 21 with the theme “Black
and White'. Many artists from the local area, as well as
surrounding states are eligible to enter. My painting 'Moonscape'
will be in the exhibit.
'Nature's Inspiration' is the
annual winter show at Cool Creek Park, Carmel, Indiana. My paintings 'Trumpeter Swan' and 'Robin's Nest'
have been accepted in the show. Lovely nature paintings and
photography from local artists make this a stunning exhibit. The
exhibit will be February 18–March 5. The reception is Friday
evening February 17 with music and refreshments.
My solo show 'All Natural' will
be on exhibit at the Hulman Building/Clabber Girl Art Gallery in
Terre Haute, Indiana during the month of March. The paintings are a
variety of nature scenes including landscapes, seascapes, sunsets,
birds, and nests. The opening is during the First Friday event March
3.
Arts Illiana's annual fundraiser '
Tablescapes' will be held the first weekend in March with several
special events, including a silent auction. My painting 'Lighthouse
in Fog' will be auctioned.
Beginning March 1 – I will be
returning to my 'home gallery' in Crawfordsville – Athens Arts. I currently have 3 paintings on
exhibit, and will be adding more periodically. My Sunrises and
Sunsets will be the featured art in August-September.
